About

She started where
you're starting.

The advisor who built The College Dream Lab didn't start with advantages. She started with determination — and a community college application.

Moriah Sandidge, Founder of The College Dream Lab

From CCP to Wellesley
to Harvard.

Moriah Sandidge didn't take the traditional path — she built her own. She began her college journey at the Community College of Philadelphia, with no roadmap and no special advantages. What she had was a belief that something bigger was possible, and the work ethic to reach for it.

From CCP, Moriah transferred to Wellesley College on a full scholarship — one of the most rigorous and selective liberal arts colleges in the country. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Sociology, and then set her sights even higher.

In 2024, she completed her Master's degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, graduating with a 4.0 GPA in Human Development and Higher Education — while working full time the entire way.

That arc — CCP to Wellesley to Harvard — is not a story about luck or exceptional circumstances. It's a story about what becomes possible when a first-generation student gets the right information, the right support, and someone in their corner who actually knows the terrain.

Moriah built The College Dream Lab so that no student has to figure it out alone. Her path is her credential. And she wants to help you walk yours.

Harvard Recognized
the Dream Lab

In 2024, Moriah's vision for reimagining college advising for first-generation students was recognized by Harvard's Graduate School of Education — winning their Entrepreneurship in Education Pitch Contest.

The award validated what Moriah had known from experience: that the college advising industry had a gap. Not for students with resources, connections, and college-educated parents — but for the students who need expert guidance the most and historically have had the least access to it.

The College Dream Lab is the answer to that gap.

Every dream deserves
a real shot.

The College Dream Lab exists for the student who isn't sure the Ivy League is "for them." For the first-generation student who doesn't know where to start. For the family that wants the best for their kid but doesn't speak the language of college admissions. We speak it fluently. And we'll translate it for you — every step of the way.
